Hydrating Post Yoga Green Smoothie

What a delicious way to refresh and hydrate after hot yoga! This yummy smoothie is so easy. Use my smoothie tips to make it even easier to enjoy more smoothies at home and save time and money. Tip #1 is to freeze peeled, cut bananas and pop them into the blender, no need for ice! Tip #2 is use coconut water for hydrating purposes and to keep calorie count down. Tip #3 is always add lemon juice when using fresh spinach. It enhances absorption of nutrients and gives it a little zing. Cheers!

Green Smoothie

Whole fruit and greens with coconut water make this a hydrating treat for post yoga.

Equipment

  • Blender or Smoothie Maker

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple can be cut and frozen in ziplock
  • 1 scoop protein powder or collagen supplement
  • 1 handful fresh baby spinach
  • coconut water
  • 3 apple wedges

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients but coconut water to blender. Then add coconut water until fruit is mostly covered. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
